Even with the cancellation of the Coast Guard Festival and other local events, there still seemed to be a steady stream of tourists in town who kept their summer plans for a visit – a little unnerving as far as COVID-19 is concerned, but great for our businesses, for sure!

The number of outsiders enjoying Grand Haven was, of course, evident by the usual: less parking spots, longer waits, traffic jams and just plain more people. But you can also spot tourists by the rookie mistakes no local who’s lived here long enough would ever be caught making – am I right?
