There’s a great movie called “Return to Me.” It takes place in a Chicago neighborhood and is a love story. At one point, Jim Belushi’s character yells, “Would everyone just calm down for the love of God and all that is holy?! Calm the hell down!”

I’ve felt like that a lot lately, like I need to stand on a table and yell those very words.

You can say that same sex marriage doesn't "hurt you". But it hurts God. Where in the Bible does God advocate this act? In fact it speaks oppositely. (Romans 1: 24-32), Leviticus 20:13.) Marriage is symbolized in God's Word as being a union between the bride ( the church) and bridegroom ( Jesus). Ephesians 5:25-32. This isn't about God changing his law to suit the desires of society. It's about us changing to suit Him. But that change must come from within. ( John 3:3).

We must follow Alicia’s beliefs that the illegal mandates of a power hungry Governor are to be obeyed, just like her mandate that sent Covid-19 infected elderly into nursing homes and long term care facilities to decimate those populations, or we don’t love other people.
