Yesterday the Tribune published an article on Ottawa County’s new Campaign Finance website where one can review the campaign contributions for each candidate. Surprisingly, the Grand Haven Tribune isn’t listed as providing in-kind contributions to any incumbent including Phil Kuyers and Roger Bergman. By publishing glowing letters by supporters of both politicians in several editions, one would think the Tribune is providing them a benefit. Does Ottawa County not track such gifts, unlike the Federal Election Commission or is the leftist media above the law?
