The Bombers compete at the NCAA Division III level and in the Liberty League for conference play.
Reportedly, Molotky was drawn to the East Coast in his college search as he looked for a school competitive both academically and on the lacrosse field. National Lacrosse Hall of Fame coach Jeff Long offered just that.
“Coach Long made it clear to me from the start that Ithaca targeted me as a high-priority recruit,” Molotky said. “I appreciated and am honored that Coach Long believes in me and I will be ready to make an impact.
“I want to thank my family, my incredible teammates and coaches throughout the years with Spring Lake lacrosse, Juiced Cherries and True Michigan.”
Last season, a 16-4 overall record and a narrow loss in the Liberty League Championship game earned Ithaca a spot in the NCAA tournament, where they advanced to the second round before falling to No. 6 Tufts.
