Mason Behm and Tristan Robbins (Mona Shores) converted two tries to lead the Bucs, while Nate Podein, Collin Monsma, Caleb Braley, Adrian Nelson and Bryan Batten each added one.
Miguel Gonzalez De Castejon converted the kick attempts for Grand Haven.
Before the game, the team held a moment of silence for teammate Malachi Sharp, who recently committed suicide and former Grand Haven girls rugby coach Dan Masterton, who recently passed away after a battle with cancer.
"It was a game that, as a program, we all needed,” said senior captain Caleb Braley. “The seniors always get their recognition but the special thing for all of the guys who knew Malachi was our moment of silence before the game.
“It’s important to remember that by playing with a Grand Haven rugby jersey on the pitch, we represent everybody that has ever worn one. We played as a team, but I believe we still have potential that we aren’t living up to. So, in the end, it was a good game for us and the program, but we aren’t done yet.”
The Buccaneers (6-0) begin their playoff hunt on May 19-20.
