GRAND HAVEN — It had been a decade since Grand Haven’s last playoff victory in football, back when the Bucs’ current players were still in elementary school.
GRANDVILLE -- A big night from the Grand Haven defense and a huge rushing game from Connor Worthington led the Bucs to their first playoff win since 2009. Grand Haven defeated Grandville in the pre-district game 28-7 Friday night.
BYRON CENTER — Any underdog needs the small details to go their way, be it bounces or turnovers. Spring Lake didn’t get any of that on Friday night, and Byron Center proved their undefeated record didn’t come cheaply in a 49-14 rout of the Lakers.
