Basketball is one of the handful of winter sports that have had their schedules affected already by the state’s pause on high-risk activities that has included in-person learning.

GRAND HAVEN TWP. — The question of having high school sports take place this month was already a pretty loaded one.

Factor in the state’s health department extending the pause on in-person learning to late December, and with Grand Haven’s school district extending their remote learning until at least Jan. 22, it’s anyone’s guess when the Buccaneers and other high school teams across the state will be back in action.
