FRUITPORT — In their pair of losses last week, Spring Lake boys basketball hadn’t started well or rebounded the way they’d like to.

That meant a bit of a challenge from the coaching staff with a trip to Fruitport coming on Tuesday night – the Lakers knew they had to anticipate some hustle and effort against an opponent who’s always ready to give them problems.
