FRUITPORT — A pair of identical set pieces made the difference for Fruitport soccer on Monday night, as they recovered from a first-half deficit to tie Coopersville 2-2.

After Fruitport conceded a pair of preventable goals in the first half, senior defender Henry Swartz turned provider down the stretch, as a long-range free kick bounced in for one goal and found junior Ryan Laus' head for the equalizer with 2:18 to play.
