Local schools had little trouble making the grade even in an unusual year of online learning. Earlier this week, Michigan’s basketball coaches’ association released lists for all-academic teams, with a number of nearby schools and individuals earning top marks.

Both the boys and girls programs earned academic all-state honors for earning a team grade-point average over 3.29, as did both Spring Lake programs.
