Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff throws autographed mini footballs to fans Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the team's facility in Allen Park. Fans got a chance to see the team practice in person for the first time in a year.

The NFL’s vaccination rate is near 90 percent. That’s good news.

It’s better news that the most popular sports league in the country achieved this without a strict COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Not that mandates are wrong, they just hit too many the wrong way.
