CALEDONIA — Getting all three phases of the game of football to sync up is a tall task.

For the first 24 minutes of Friday night, Grand Haven was proficient on one side – their offense punching it into the end zone twice. But it was their defense, primarily in the second half, that eventually found trouble. Caledonia used a 20-0 surge out of halftime and ran away with the contest, 42-13 on the Scots’ Homecoming night.
