A 24-year-old Grand Rapids-area man is in the Ottawa County Jail on a $45,000 bond after police responding to a crash last week found him passed out in the grass with a loaded assault weapon pointed toward the highway.

GRAND HAVEN TWP. — A Coopersville woman and a West Olive man were injured in a two-car crash late Thursday morning at U.S. 31 and Comstock Street.
MARNE — A man and a woman suffered critical injuries when a car sideswiped their motorcycle Saturday evening on Arthur Street near 24th Avenue.
Two people were injured after a boating accident on Saturday. One person was airlifted to the hospital.
HOLLAND TWP. — A 40-year-old West Olive woman was in stable condition at Holland Hospital following a crash early Sunday afternoon on Waverly at Chicago Drive.

HOLLAND TWP. — A 16-year-old girl is recovering after she was hit by a car and dragged 75 feet across the ground.
